I've been thinking about some of these verses today--especially the ones that give us commands and promises. Each one of the following commands comes with a specific promise from God. I know God will keep His side of the bargain, but sometimes I wonder EXACTLY how I go about keeping mine. For example, exactly how do we take delight in the Lord? What does it mean to trust the Lord? How do we commit everything we do to the Lord? Any thoughts?
Trust in the Lord. (Then you will live safely and prosper.)
Take delight in the Lord. (and he will give you your heart's desires.)
Commit everything you do to the Lord. (and he will help you.)
