What a beautiful hymn of praise on this Friday afternoon!
- He hears our prayers. v. 2
- He forgives our sins. v. 3
- He answers our prayers. v. 5
- He is the creator. vv. 6-8 Every morning and every evening we should remember our God as we see the sun rise and set.
- He cares for the earth and waters it to provide our needs. vv. 9-13 We hear a lot about the environment, and I believe that as Christians we should do our part to take care of the earth. It's a wonderful and beautiful and generous gift from the Lord. But we must also remember that God Himself is the Great Caretaker. He sends the sunshine and the rain. He keeps the climate and all the earth stable and productive. Even nature seems to praise Him! "You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the desert overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness. The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing." vv. 11-13
