We again meet our friend, Heman. You know--the one who was depressed almost beyond words in Psalm 88. Well, he's feeling better now; he's singing and praising the Lord. I think he may have given us a prescription to take whenever we feel down.
What does Heman tell us about God?
- His love is unfailing.
- All heaven will praise His great wonders.
- Myriads of angels will praise Him for His faithfulness.
- No one, not even the mightiest angels, can compare with the Lord.
- He is entirely faithful.
- He rules the oceans, the storms, and the creatures within them.
- The heavens and the earth are His; He created them.
- He is strong and powerful.
- Righteousness, justice, love, and truth surround Him.
- We are happy if we heed His call to worship.
- Our protection comes from Him.
