Psalm 118

"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever." The psalmist calls on all Israel to praise the Lord. In fact, all who fear the Lord are called on to repeat, "His faithful love endures forever." vv 1-4

Then the psalmist tells us about troubles he has faced and how God has answered his prayers. It contains some beautiful and memorable verses. "The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?" v. 6   "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people." v. 8

vv. 22-26 refer to Jesus and His ministry.

And then the Psalm ends with "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever." Happy Thanksgiving!
